India’s Green GDP catches up with GDP

What is Green GDP?


The Reserve Bank of India, released a paper showing that the “Green” GDP is catching up with the GDP of the country.

Green GDP is the number after adjusting the GDP for environmental impact. What it aims to check is if the country kept up its commitment to reduce environmental damage.

The number has been tracked for the first time by 3 persons working in the Reserve Bank of India. They have done extensive research and with data going back to 1970’s. This number can be the basis of future GDP calculation

Bangladesh beat Netherland by 9 runs in T20 World cup match


Bangladesh score 144 for 8 wickets in the 20 overs and then managed to bowl out Netherlands with 135 runs winning the match.

For Bangladesh Taskin Ahmed took 4 wickets in his 4 over spell. Netherland put a strong chase with Colin Ackermann scoring 62 runs in 48 balls.
